The conference will examine how architectural practice in India today is shaped by our interconnected yet fragile social, economic, cultural, and political systems. It explores the relationship between practices in reflection and transition, their responses to an unpredictable world, and the approaches that connect them through the present towards a redeemable future.
The sessions are structured as a series of robust conversations between architects and expert practitioners from allied disciplines along five key themes:
  1. The Act of Making: Labour, Skills and Attitudes
  2. The Asymmetries in Spatial Practice: Gender Equity, Women’s Rights and Public Health
  3. Caste Asymmetries in Spatial Practice
  4. Technology and the AI Turn
  5. The Ecological Question
