This volume is the second publication of the project  - State of Architecture in South Asia, following Architectures of Transition: Emergent Practices in South Asia, which was based on a
lecture series held between 2022 and 2023 and documented 41 practices, run by professionals under 40 years of age, engaged in the making of
architecture, landscape, and infrastructure in the public realm. This publication builds on that research and draws from the international
conference ‘Architectures of Transition: Frameworks and Practices in South Asia,’ held in New Delhi, in December 2023.

This book captures the conversations at the conference, which addressed architectural agency by including practices who have been working for over a decade and who demonstrated diverse methods of engagement.
